An ashram is a sacred space where all things external are directed towards empowering and deepening the experience of inner exploration and transformation. They are spiritual laboratories where a group of seekers irrespective of caste, creed or religion, come together and pursue spiritual practices under the loving compassionate guidance of a master. Only a few ashrams are blessed with the radiant and blissful presence of a living enlightened master. The Nithyananda ashrams around the world happen to be one among them.
