Bangalore Ashramites celebrate LA Ashrams 1st Anniversary - September 3,
2006
Sept. 3rd marked the first anniversary of the LA ashram. It was
celebrated with much enthusiasm and gusto in Bangalore and all the Dhyanapeetam
centers in
India
. The ashramites at Bangalore considered this day as a festival and celebrated
by decorating the ashram. They also watched a DVD on the birth of the LA ashram
and its profound growth in just one year; and were flabbergasted at such an
achievement. The ashramites had the opportunity to hear Swamiji speak from
USA
. Swamiji announced as his message for the day: "LA ashramites have declared
that they will start 31 ashrams in
America
by my 31st birthday. All the ashramites, brahmacharis, acharyas,
organizers and volunteers must get inspired by this to create 108 ashrams in
India
by my 31st birthday". Following are some of the pictures from
