Brahmotsav 2007
(Day 1), Bidadi India - 22 December 2007
Volunteers Day - A Beautiful
warm sunny morning - Day 1 of
Brahmotsav started with a grand
welcome to the Master. Hundreds
of devotees, disciples and ashramites
thronged the procession to the
Anandeshwara - Anandeshwari temple in
the ashram. Guru Homa was performed
to Vedic hymns and chanting. The
Master later met and gave a small talk
to the Ananda Sevaks (Volunteers) who
came from different parts of the
country to serve the Master for the
next 10 days.
The masters message for today : When
real meditation happens in you, you
acquire the capacity to visualize the
next 10 to 15 steps and out of this
deep intelligence stems creativity.
This creativity and visualization
when offered as service, is real
seva
or service. Then, you are a real Sevak.
Else, you are just a worker. A worker
is one who just does what he is told
to do and keeps quiet. For the next 10 days, try not to operate out of fear or greed but out of pure commitment and dedication. Work with great intensity. Meditation is not
just closing your eyes and sitting in a corner. The intensity is the meditation. The intensity is what causes the transformation within.
