Flag Hoisting - Day
2 of
Brahmotsav began with a grand
procession where the Master was lead
to the Anandeshwara - Anandeshwari
temple by a enthusiastic crowd.
The Dhyanapeetam flag was hoisted by
the Master with great pomp and glory.
The evening was filled with Bhajans
and Kirtans sung by devotees for the
Master, followed by individual
blessing to everyone present. In his discourse to the assembled
crowd of devotees and disciples Master
said "Today, a tremendous
positive energy explosion has
happened. This explosion is a sample
of what is to happen during this
10-day Brahmotsav
festival! The flag has been hoisted
today. As far as the eye can see
around the flag, there will be
explosion of bliss and wisdom.
Understand: when an ordinary man
wishes this, it is a prayer. When an
enlightened Being wishes it, it is
a satya sankalpa – an expression of the Truth."
"If it is
the birthday of a father in a house,
that family alone celebrates. If it is
the birthday of a party leader, that
party alone celebrates. If it is the
birthday of the leader of a nation,
that nation alone celebrates. If
something good to do with the outer
world happens, the outer world
celebrates. If Existence itself
overflows and takes birth as one in
which the inner and outer worlds have
merged..the whole of Existence
celebrates!"
"May all the
Divine beings, Yogis, great
enlightened Masters, Rishis,
Siddars descend here to celebrate this grand 11-day festival in
Nithyanandapuri. You will be able to
clearly see the energy explosion
happening here these 11-days. All your
wishes will be granted. This is not
just celebration of a birthday. This
is celebration of enlightenment."

bliss which cannot be expressed in
words be experienced by each one of
you. If it is true that Existence
itself has taken birth, if it is true
that Existence is expressing through
this body as Bliss and Truth, then
that same energy will be inside and
outside of you these 11-days and take
you towards the Ultimate Truth."
These 11-days, all those who are here, you
don’t need any initiation, any sutra
or technique, any dhyana
or meditation. Just by virtue of being
here, you will achieve the Ultimate
Truth in your life…
