Purifying and Energizing the sanctum sanctorum spot of Temple of Sri Anandeshwar

On 20 Nov 2006, Swamiji performed the purification rituals (Shuddhi Kriya) at the spot of the sanctum sanctorum of the upcoming Temple of Sri Anandeshwar at the ashram in Bangalore. The presiding deities of Sri Anandeshwar and Anandeshwari are in procession in Salem, and will enter the ashram in Bangalore and get consecrated at this spot on 1 Jan 2007. The temple will be assembled at a rapid pace starting from today. Following this, continuous energizing will happen at this spot until 1 Jan 2007, when the deities will be consecrated.
On 21 Nov 2006, Swamiji performed Sri Vidya Homa (fire ritual) at the sanctum sanctorum pit.
He said, "The Divine energy instilled into the pit by virtue of the homa was
paramount." Here, he is seen offerinf arati to Sri Anandeshwar under the sacred banyan before commencing
the homa.
Swamiji brings the lit camphor from Sri Anandeshwar and drops it into the pit.
Humble obeisance to the Existential Energy which is manifested in the form of the fire element.
Swamiji circumambulates the pit.
Swamiji offers ghee and other items like sugar cane, silk sarees into the fire.
