In the history of Dhyanapeetam, this is the day Swamiji's beloved Father attained the state of inner bliss and passed away, getting liberated. This day has been declared by Swamiji as the day for celebrating all those who have had a blissful passing away on account of having attended the Nithyananda Spurana Program (NSP) - the meditation program on facing death fearlessly and blissfully.

Maha Parinirvana day was observed in Los Angeles Ashram with a special puja and Maha Aarati. The beautifully decorated idols of Ananda Venkateshwara and Anandeshwara/Anandeshwari can be seen in the background. The following are a few photos taken during the event:
