Maheshwara Pooja - 20 Nov 2006, Ashram, Bangalore
On 20 Nov 2006, a devotee offered Maheshwara Pooja to Swamiji and the ordained Brahmacharis, Brahmacharinis and Vanaprastha Sannyasis of the ashram, as a mark of offering to her Mother who passed away 21 days earlier. Through offering to them, who have taken on the higher spiritual path in life and live like channels of Existence, it is believed that the offering reaches Existence itself and the departed soul that has become one with it.
The group performs Guru pooja to the danda (stick) that symbolically represents the Master.
