Nithyanandam
ashram, Bangalore, 27 Jan to 5 Feb 2007
From 27 Jan to 5 Feb 2007 , Nithyanandam – an enlightenment
intensive meditation camp -
happened for the second time
at the ashram in Bangalore
.
An intense group of seekers
from all over the world gathered
and spent 10 days in the presence of Swamiji, enjoying
discourses, questions and answers, ananda
darshans ,
music and dance. Swamiji
delivered many profound Truths
during these sessions.
The
core message of this program: Every thought that rises in us
is independent like a bubble
that rises in a fish tank.
Although from far the train of bubbles appears to be connected,
in reality, each bubble is independent and totally unconnected
with the other. Likewise, every thought is independent. Every
thought has to die before the next thought rises. While this
is a very natural process that goes on within us, we tend to
connect one thought with another and form a shaft of thoughts
within us all the time. Based on the nature of thoughts that
we connect, the shaft that is formed gives us either pain or
pleasure. Because of this, we suffer.
The entire program is
focused on how to avoid clutching
into this shaft and how to experience a liberated state where every
thought is independent and dies leaving no impression on us.
