My husband is a lawyer practicing in Salem . Our family members are devotees of Sri Nithyananda since February 2002. It all started like this - we heard about him through one of our family friends - Mr. Chockalingam, who is a Forest Range Officer. Out of deep interest and curiosity we had stepped into the ashram at Pallipalayam (Erode Dt, Tamil Nadu) and my husband and Mr M.P. Sekar, our family friend could feel an energy field in the ashram.
He was something that we hadn't expected to see. Contrary to our imagination of meeting a gray-haired Swamiji with a long beard, what we saw was a bubbly person with practical answers to any question we put forth. His very bearing made us take a deep liking towards him. The very first meeting with him was enough to inspire us. He had asked us to come there (since we are residents of Salem ) as often as possible to learn meditation techniques. We also came to know that Swamiji not only taught meditation, but also had the power of healing.
Months rolled by and it so happened that my elder daughter, who was in the XII std started complaining of abdominal pain for about 2 months. We neglected it as menstrual cramps or some worm infestations and treated her now and then whenever she complained. But slowly, the pain started mounting and she was passing blood along with her motion quite frequently. So, on clinically diagnosing with scans, doctors suspected it as Ulcerative colitis which had to be treated with medicines for over six months, and the side effects factor too had to be considered. So finally we decided to go to Swamiji, since we had deep trust in his treatment.
We took her to Bangalore (He had moved there by that time) and she was treated and cured fully by Swamiji's healing within a period of 15 days. As her mother, I was quite panicky on seeing her lose so much weight, and becoming weaker day by day. But since we had so much faith in Swamiji's healing, I could easily get over it.
In a meditation camp during Swamiji's visit to Salem , he had given my younger daughter who is only 9 years old, a wonderful Darshan ( Vishwaroopa Darshan ), where she saw Swamiji in a very huge form. Later we came to know that Swamiji gives such kinds of Darshan to very few people and my daughter was lucky enough to see him that way.

My Transition From Being Healed To A Healer
I wish to put on record my grateful thanks to Swami Nityananda for all the good health, peace and joy that he has bestowed upon me.
I happened to read an article published in the 'Hindu' about Swamiji's healing powers and I also came to know more about him through my neighbour. I had been suffering from certain health problems then. I went to meet Swamiji at his Bangalore City center. For a few days I used to just stand and watch him healing others.
One day as I stood in the queue for his Darshan, I could feel warmth right from my heart welcoming me into his Divine Grace. That's when I realized that there is much more to Swamiji than his physical form.
I had been suffering from backache, throat infection and headache for several years. I decided to take healing from Swamiji. During the first healing done by Swamiji, these symptoms reduced by 50%. After the complete 15 sessions of healing, my problems disappeared completely.
I was further advised to attend the Ananda Spurana Program at Devanahalli, which Swamiji himself conducts. It was a great opportunity and unique experience to learn various meditation techniques and spend two whole days in the presence of this great-Enlightened Master. I came back from the program, a totally transformed person with a very positive frame of mind and feeling blissful. Since then there has been no turning back.
After being healed and attending the first ASP, I wanted to become a healer. I was asked to attend another ASP. After the second ASP, I came back feeling totally rejuvenated and felt as though I was transported to another world. I was feeling a joy that is beyond any worldly description.
On June 29 th , 2003, I was initiated to be a healer by Swamiji and started a healing center at my home. Since then I have been doing healing for people with different ailments.
It's a wonderful experience being a channel for Swamiji in the healing process. The flow of His Divine energy through me gives me totally new vitality and vigor. These days there is not a dull moment in my life. Any symptoms of any kind of problem, physical, mental or otherwise, that I face, disappear as I carry out Swamiji's healing.
It is indeed my great fortune to be associated with our beloved Swamiji who is full of the Divine Energy.
With love and devotion I totally surrender at the lotus feet of this Divine Master.
