From 28 June to 12 July 2008, Nithyananda Dhyanapeetam is organizing a fund raising yatra (tour) to the Garhwal region of the Himalayan range. This is the fourth consecutive year that the Master is leading His devotees to the embodiment of Divinity where every hill is the Himalayas, every stream is Mother Ganga, every stone is the sacred linga and every activity done is gnana (wisdom).

Every year Nithyananda Dhyanapeetam organizes various fundraising tours across India and overseas. This year Dhyanapeetam is organizing one such fund raising tour to the Himalayas with Swamiji!. All proceeds from this tour will go towards providing free food and medical help to various villages in India. Support Nithyanandam in Villages

The places covered during the visit are in the Uttaranchal State of North India and include: Rishikesh, Yamunotri, Uttarkashi, Gangotri, Joshimath, Srinagar, Kedarnath, Badrinath and Haridwar. Of these, the four places - Yamunotri, Gangotri, Kedarnath and Badrinath are collectively called the Char Dham - the four hallowed shrines of the Himalayas.

Whatever can be said about the Himalayas is less. The Himalayas have to be experienced.They are truly an energy field. The Himalayas are a spiritual incubator - for enlightened Masters to land on planet Earth.

Many great, sacred rivers like Ganga, Yamuna, Saraswati have their origin in the majestic Himalayas. Having the sthala (place), teertha (holy water) and murti (Master) all at the same time is a rare and blessed opportunity in human life.  Enjoy the exquisite beauty of the awe-inspiring mountains and the magnificent, vibrant rivers...

We are this body, the heart and something beyond. Sense pleasures are related to the body, love is related to the heart and bhakti is related to the soul. There are five bhavas/emotions with which one relates to God/Guru, like vaatsalya bhava (god as a child), daasa bhava (god as master), maatru bhava (God as a parent), sakha bhava (god as a friend) madhura bhava (God as beloved), thus bringing Him close to the heart, rather than treating Him as an outsider. 
Bhakti is the pinnacle of this intense love for God. 

When bhakti happens to a person nothing else is needed. Bhakti is the ultimate blossoming of the being. Devotion can never be created in a person, but a space can be created where devotion/bhakti can flower. Nithyananda in the beautiful settings of the Himalayas speaks on Narada Bhakti Sutras for the first time ever, thus creating the space where bhakti can flower.
