-Preserving the rich Vedic
heritage
The Earth energy is the least subtle of all the five energy elements - space, water, fire, air
and ether. Hence, it is the easiest to relate to for man. A vast majority of temples in the Vedic culture are built of stone. The beautiful architecture, intricate art work like carving and painting on the structure, the precise geometry and dimensions of every detail of the temple designed according to the detailed science ranging from the temple external structure to the elaborate alankar (decoration for the deity) and above all, the deep devotion of the devotees all make temples a unique and wonderful way to connect to the energy of Existence.
Skilled
artisans at work on creating the
metal arts
Over 20 tonnes of metal have so far been melted to create
deities for world-over.
There are 108 tandava murtis, each around 2 ½ feet, representing a dancing form of Lord Shiva.
Seen here are a few of them that have been made for various locations worldwide. Work is on to complete all 108 of them.
