-Preserving the rich Vedic
heritage
The Earth energy is the least subtle of all the five energy elements - ether, water, fire, air and ether. Hence, it is the easiest to relate to for man. A vast majority of temples in the Vedic culture are built of stone. The deities of worship too are of stone. Beautiful architecture, intricate carving and painting, precise geometry and dimensions of every detail of the temple are done according to the temple science. All this combined with the deep devotion of the devotees, and the elaborate alankar (decoration) of the deities, render temples a unique and wonderful way to connect to the energy of Existence.
